Growing up the first thing I did when I stepped on the ice was look for where my father was standing. He was always easy to find. Find the mass of people and then find the farthest corner of the rink away from the crowd. That's where he'd be. Always there watching silently alone. I was always trying to make him proud. Every game a pursuit for perfection and I looked to the stands after every goal. That smile was all I needed. I'll continue to look to those stands as I go watch my own son play. Dad will always be right there in the farthest corner of the rink. Miss u dad.

Shirley & Family
I've been thinking about the early days in the neighborhood when I first met Tommy.'The neighborhood was loaded with kid's and we'd all get-together and play hockey on the frozen ponds. I remember how much he loved hockey and was one of the best kids on the ice.
I remember him working on his model cars and drawing caricatures of them with crazy characters in them. Also along with them he displayed his dog collection in his room with a " do not touch" sign on them.
I always remember him and his sister Carol Anne always being together. I use to refer to them as "2 farmers" as they both liked flowers & gardening.
He was a great father, great husband and great provider.
How was I to know he would be my future Brother-in-law!
I know Carol Anne and I will miss him forever.
Billy
